మీరన్న “ïnspired”ని ఎలా అర్థం చేసుకోవాలో తెలీక, ఊహలకు రెక్కలు తొడిగి – బహుశా, మారియన్ పర్ల్ కూడా కహానీలో విద్యాలా చాకచక్యంగా విలన్ల ఆటకట్టించిందేమోనని అనేసుకొని, మొత్తానికి ఎ మైటీ హార్ట్ పుస్తకం చదివాను. నాకసలు ఏ సారూప్యమూ కనపబడలేదు. సినిమా ట్రైలర్ ఏ పెద్దగా గొప్పగా అనిపించలేదు. అందుకని చూడదల్చుకోలేదు.

ఇంతకీ మీరన్న “inspired” ఏంటి?

It is a great a movie.. The story, screenplay, action and the backdrop .. everything is simply superb.. a must watch.. I hope they will not spoil the movie by remaking the same in every other language…..

ఇప్పటి సినిమాల్లో హింసా, బూతూ, ఏడుపులూ, పెడబొబ్బలూ, ఆడవాళ్ల విలనిజాలూ తప్ప matter అసలే ఉండట్లేదు!! ఇప్పటి సినిమాలు చూస్తే పాతవే better అనిపిస్తది!! స్త్రీ పాత్రల స్థాయి మరీ అట్టడుగుకు జారిపోయింది. దస్తీలూ, తువ్వాలు గుడ్డలూ కట్టుకుని, హీరో వెంటబడ్డం, డాన్సులు ఆడటం తప్ప ఇప్పటి హీరోయిన్లకు డైలాగులు చెప్పటమే సరిగ్గా రాదు!! భవిష్యత్తులో సినిమాలు ఇంకా చండాలంగా ఉంటాయని సన్నీ లియోన్ bollywood లోకి ప్రవేశించినప్పుడే అర్ధం చేసేసుకోవాలి మనం!!

చాలా ఆలస్యంగా ఈ సినిమా ఇవ్వాళే చూశాను. విపరీతంగా నచ్చేసింది. The characters are still playing on my mind! Amazing movie.

I think Annu Kapoor just rocked it! He was fabulously good! Since I was so used to watch Ayushman on MTV, I knew he’d do it well. I liked the Punjabi attitude of his character, even in most intense emotional scenes. Yami is Fair and Lovely gal, and it was only matter of time, before she appeared on the big screen. (I feel, this- most of the gals enacting an ad for F&L end up on big screens – is the biggest selling point of the product, than some of its crappy ad film ideas.)

But above all, the true hero of this venture was Juhi Chaturvedi. OMG! She did an incredible job and with such ease?! Mindbogglingly good. The movie was so Indian, that I wouldn’t mind even if it is lifted from elsewhere. Bollywood is going places, at least sincerely attempting to learn to fly!
