National-level student film festival
The Department of Mass Communication, Loyola Academy Degree & P.G College, is organizing a national-level student film festival on December 7th, 8th, & 9th, 2010.
The entries are invited in short-fiction, documentary, video public service message, and animation categories.
The three-day film festival will have interactive session with leading film-makers from Bollywood and from Tollywood along with festival screenings.
All are invited for the festival and screenings.

is there any way to sumbit my shortfilm by uploading online(I mean through youtube or somewhere).because iam not sure that i can send my sf through courier in two days.

* Last date one can submit the 3rd December by 3 p.m
* 3 DVD’s of each entry… along with full credits and synopsis in separate A4 Sheets
* Duration of short film must not exceed 20min, documentary duration must not exceed 25min, Public service message must not exceed 120 seconds..

జాతీయ స్థాయి విద్యార్థుల ఫిలిం ఉత్సవం లొయోల అకాడమి లో 7 -12 -2010 ఉదయం 11 గంటలకి మొదలయింది.
మొత్తం 70 సినిమాలు ఎంట్రీలు గా వొచ్చాయి. అందులో నలభై సినిమాలని ప్రదర్శనకి ఎంపిక చేసారు.
ఈ ఉత్సవం లో ఉమేష్ మెహ్రా, సతీష్ రీడ్డి ముఖ్య అతితులుగా పాల్గొన్నారు.
తరవాత కొన్ని సినిమాలని ప్రదర్శించారు.
ముఖ్య అతితులతో విద్యార్థుల Interactive session కూడా జరిగింది.
విద్యార్థులు చాల ఉత్సాహంగా కనిపించారు. అతిథులు, విద్యార్థుల సందడి తో పండగ వాతావరణం అలముకొంది.
ఈ రోజు 8 -12 -2010 , “అలా మొదలైంది” దర్శకురాలు నందిని రెడ్డి మరియు ప్రముఖ నటుడు రాజా ముఖ్య అతితులుగా విచ్చేసి తమ అనుభవాలని విద్యార్థులతో పంచుకోబోతున్నారు.
తరవాత మరికొన్ని సినిమాల ప్రదర్శన అలాగే ఆస్కార్ సాధించిన తక్కువ నిడివి చిత్రాలని ప్రదర్శిస్తారు.
సమయం ఉంటే ఓ గంట ఈ ఉత్సవంలో గడిపి రండి. మీలో కొత్త ఉత్సాహం నిండుతుంది.

IN FOCUS- A national students’ film festival concludes today. The event will screen few best student documentaries and video public serive messages.
Dr. Promod Nair, Associate Profeesor, Department of English literature will deliver lecture on Creative writing for various media at 10:30am.
P.K Manvi, Director, Ramoji FIlm and Television Academy(RAFT) will deliver a key deliver a key note address on Art and Craft of Film-making at 12:00a:m
Later, festival organises an interactive session with participating film-makers.
The film festival concludes with an valedictory function and prize-giving. The three -member jury headed by Dr.Padmaja Shaw, Professor, English and Foreign Languages University(EFLU) will be present at the valedictory fuction.
