Chapter 1 – The Jew Hunter
బ్రాడ్ పిట్ కథానాయకుడయినా అమితంగా ఆకట్టుకునేది Christoph Waltz. జర్మనీ పాలిత ఫ్రాన్సులోని యూదులను మట్టుపెట్టే ఈ డిటెక్టివ్ పాత్రకు తగిన నటుడు దొరక్కపోతే సినిమా తీయకూడదు అనుకున్నానని టరంటినో ఎందుకన్నాడో సినిమా చూస్తే తెలుస్తుంది. స్వతహాగా ఇంగ్లీషు, జర్మన్, ఫ్రెంచ్ భాషలు అనర్గళంగా మాట్లాడే వాల్ట్జ్ మొదటి చాప్టర్లో నవ్వుతూ పెద్దమనిషి తరహాలో మాట్లాడుతూ నెమ్మదిగా తన విశ్వరూపం చూపుతాడు. తర్వాతి చాప్టర్లలో వాల్ట్జ్ కనిపించాడంటే ఇప్పుడు ఏమి చేస్తాడోనని (కేవలం మాటలతోనే!) అని ఊపిరి బిగపట్టి చూడవలసిందే. కేన్స్ ఫిల్మ్ ఫెస్టివల్లో ఈ సినిమాలో నటనకుగాను ఉత్తమ నటుడి అవార్డు అందుకున్న వాల్ట్జ్ ఈసారి ఆస్కార్ అవార్డుల రేసులో ఉండే అవకాశాలు ఎక్కువే.
Chapter 2 – Violence
సినిమాల్లో హింసను మరో మెట్టు పైకి తీసుకెళ్ళిన లేదా దిగజార్చిన దర్శకుడిగా టరంటినోను చెప్పుకోవచ్చు. టరంటినో అత్యుత్తమ చిత్రం అయిన “రిజర్వాయర్ డాగ్స్” సినిమాలో ఒక దృశ్యం చూసి కొందరు “ఇక జన్మలో ఈ దర్శకుడి సినిమాలు చూడను” అని థియేటర్లనుండి వెళ్ళిపోయారట. కెమెరాను కాస్త పక్కకు తిప్పి శబ్దాలు వినిపిస్తే ప్రేక్షకులు ఊహించుకోగలరు ఏమి జరిందో కానీ టరంటినో మాత్రం అందుకు ఒప్పుకోడు! ఈ సినిమాలో కూడా తల పక్కకు తిప్పుకోనే లేదా ఇంకోసారి పాప్కార్న్ తినాలంటే ఆలోచించే సీన్లు 2-3 ఉన్నాయి. రిజర్వాయర్ డాగ్స్ చూసినవాళ్ళకయితే పెద్దగా ఇబ్బంది కలుగకపోవచ్చు.
Chapter 3 – Comedy
ఇక చాలు బాబోయ్ అనిపించే సుదీర్ఘ సంభాషణలు సినిమా అంతా వెంటాడుతాయి. టరంటినో బ్రాండ్ కామెడీకి అయితే కొదువ లేదు. బ్రాడ్పిట్ పాత్ర పెద్దది కాకపోయినా one of his best. బ్రాడ్ పిట్ మాట్లాడే ప్రతిమాట నాజీల పట్ల పగను చెబుతూ నవ్వు తెప్పిస్తాయి. బ్రాడ్ పిట్ స్టైల్ ఆ కామెడీకి మరో పెద్ద ప్లస్ పాయింట్. వాల్ట్జ్ కూడా అక్కడక్కడా కామెడీ చేసాడు. Mike Myers కాసేపు ఆస్టిన్ పవర్స్ ను గుర్తు తెప్పించి నవ్విస్తాడు. చివరకు హిట్లర్ కూడా నవ్విస్తూనే ఉంటాడు అంటే సినిమా ఎంత కామెడీగా ఉంటుందో అర్థం చేసుకోవచ్చు.
Chapter 4 – Characters
ఎప్పటిలాగే ఈ సినిమాలో కూడా చాలా ఎక్కువ క్యారక్టర్లు ఉన్నాయి, దాదాపు అన్ని పాత్రలు టరంటినో సినిమా నియమాల ప్రకారం ముగిసిపోతాయి. కొద్ది నిమిషాల పాత్ర అయినా “ఎవరు ఇంత మంచి నటుడు, ఎప్పుడూ చూడలేదే” అని ప్రేక్షకులు అనుకొనేలా నటన రాబట్టే టరంటినో ఈ సినిమా ద్వారా కొందరు అద్భుత నటులను సినీప్రపంచానికి పరిచయం చేసాడు. Waltz, బ్రాడ్ పిట్ తర్వాత చక్కని నటనను ప్రదర్శించిన Mélanie Laurent, యుద్ద వీరుడినుండి హీరోగా మారే Daniel Brühl, డేగకళ్ళ జర్మన్ మిలటరీ ఆఫీసరుగా August Diehl లు ఆయా పాత్రలకు ప్రాణం పోసారు. ఎక్కువ పబ్లిసిటీవల్ల Eli Roth పైన అంచనాలు ఎక్కువ ఉండడడం వల్ల కాబోలు, అంతగా ఆకట్టుకోడు.
Chapter 5 – Epilogue
ఇది పక్కా టరంటినో సినిమా. సినిమాలో నటించకపోయినా మొదటినుండి చివరివరకు టరంటినో కనిపిస్తూనే ఉంటాడు. రిజర్వాయర్ డాగ్స్ , పల్ప్ ఫిక్షన్ రెండూ కలిపి రంగరిస్తే ఎలా ఉంటుందో తెలుసుకోవాలన్నా లేదా ఈ దశాబ్దపు అతి చెత్త సినిమా అయిన District 9 చూసినవాళ్ళు మళ్ళీ సినిమాల పైన ఆశలు సజీవంగా నిలుపుకోవాలన్నా తప్పక చూడవలసిన అద్భుత సినిమా ఇది. రేటింగ్: 5/5.

I liked every actor(actress) in this film except Bridolfo Pittler… He seemed over dramatic at parts. I had the same feeling after watchin this film that this is a combination of Pulp fiction and reservoir dogs.

Movie is far from reality and typical Torantino ‘Vengeance-Revenge’ movie. I felt it is very crude and jewish attempt to show that they can be more cruel than Nazis. All actors acted well and drama is very good.

I somehow feel that QT is just overrated. May be I don’t like his gory violence and garbage dialogue. He often repeats himself, fills the movie with his knowledge of H’wood trivia – which is what he did in this movie once again. Ten years in the making, and this is the best he can come up with? I’m utterly disappointed, and want my $10 back.

Good but didn’t excite me much. May be I was expecting more, especially after recent re-runs of KillBill and Deathproof on DVDs. Will watch it again on DVD as soon as its out. My rating 3.5/5.
We did like District-9.. creative imagination at its best..

సినిమాలో వాల్ట్జ్, మెలానీల నటన చాలా బాగుంది. బ్రాడ్ పిట్ ఫరవలేదనిపించాడు.
సినిమాకి ఆయువుగా డయిలాగులు నిలుస్తాయి. ఈ మధ్యలో అంత చక్కని ఓపెనింగ్ సీను నేను చూడలేదు.
సినిమాలో వాల్ట్జ్ కారెక్టరుని చిత్రీకరించిన విధానం అద్భుతం. తనకి అప్పగించిన పని పర్ఫెక్టుగా చేయగలిగిన ఆఫీసరు మరి
సినిమా ముగింపు బాగానే ఉన్నా, స్టేజీ వెనకాల మంటల మధ్య మెలానీ నవ్వుతుంటే ముగిస్తే బాగుణ్ణని నాకనిపించింది.

Movie has Drama allover . It is very crude and far from reality though the subject selected is Hitler era. It is a typical Torantino ‘Vengeance-Revenge’ movie and a Jewish attempt to show that they can be more cruel than Nazis. All actors acted well and drama is very good.
