gud. But, In the starting K says “there is no true love, everything business…etc” and after some time he will say that he finds the true love. what made him to decide so (voice of a girl…???). I didn’t find any convincing reason for the above statements.

First of all thanks for the comment.
Those dialogues were in regards to marriage… and in cases like doctor marries doctor, actor marries actor…. in those cases only, there is no true love…bcos u are looking to expand your family business… And in the movie, he no where said that he found a true love…. He found someone who is honest to him and he want her to be with him forever, which doesn’t mean they are in love …. it can also be friendship
And movie views are from K’s point of view, its a Killer’s story… So killers normally talk philosophy, Hope you got the point. And there is stilltrue love in the world.THats a known fact.

Vijay, we have used normal sony VX-1000 , it cost 800/- per day, and we shot the film without lights. thats it.
Excellent is the only word to say. I wish u scale great heights in future.
Great work Jonathan. Congratulations. I felt like watching Wong Kar-wai’s ‘fallen angels’. You can make a full length indie film with the same production values that shown in this short. All the Best.

Very good work
Everything seems planned , thats whts attracting in it.
But, I would like to say a few points which you MAY consider in right spirit
1. Film is going with 1st person narration and with K’s V.O.. and ofcourse though all shots are objectivve pov, it becomes 1st person camera..
and that element is broken…with one particular shot : of someone observing K from a car’s rearview . It skips narrative.
In a story narrated by a person you are showing an angle which he never knew. (if he knew of the person watching he wudnt have gone there)
there is no fixed rule to maintain narrative, but you think to tell story without that shot, actually even if its chopped it doesnt make much change i feel
2. Editing , too many fadeouts give a trailer kind of feel. Or i can say Montage . but ,if you try with camera pans merging up or superimposes that may go off (well again personal choice matters)
CINEMATOGRAPHY is fabulous, and its dominating every other department. Its not a mistake, but i think other things can match up when plot is better and editing appears more seamless

Jonadhan garu. you did a good job. Cinematography is good. The quality of film is very nice. You used more fade in and fade outs that lacks the continuity of the film. The Voice Over is good and English Narration is very nice.
I Hope you make good commercial feauture film in the future.

Jonathan is busy So I’m replying on his behalf, shooting was done in 1 and half day, but for script jonathan worked for quite a few days. Dubbing was 3 hours, Editing took around 40 hours. So yeah thats the no. of days info. Thanks for the comment.

There’s a bit of vignetting in one of the beginning shots. You should’ve cropped those corners.
