Hyderabad In many a movie, we have seen parodies where a scriptwriter runs from pillar to post to get his story made into a movie. The reality is less harsh as most established production houses have a story department and are always on the look out for new talent. ‘Its hard to get a break in Tollywood’, applies only for those who’re not good enough or try hard enough. If you think you have an interesting story, fairly original, worthy of making into a small-budget feature film in telugu, here is your opportunity to realize that idea. Geetha Arts is looking for screenwriters with interesting ideas, scripts to be made into a movie. Your story could be of any genre as long as its entertaining. Interested writers, kindly send in your CV and the treatment or synopsis of your film to Allu Sirish (storydept@geethaarts.com). Short-listed scripts will be called for a one-on-one narration. We recommend the writers register the screenplay/scripts with any recognized body such as Andhra Pradesh Cine Writers’ Association before submission. Preference will be given for those with experience in the film industry, come from a film school or have a literature background. |
